Files you add to an article are stored in Drive automatically, so there is one copy that everything points to. Any article can also go into a Collection or onto your public Portal.

Open a gallery and scroll through the thumbnails; double-click any one to preview it full size. Publish a whole gallery for a language in one step, or in every language at once. Drag a misfiled image onto another gallery and it lands there instantly. If your photos and videos already live in OneDrive or Dropbox, bring them over whole, folders and all.

Folders that work like the file explorer you already know, holding the working files your articles, collections, and approvals reference by link, not by copy.
Drag a file between folders and it lands instantly, sorted the way Finder or Explorer would sort it. Rename folders, right-click for actions, and trust that access holds at every level, so people only move what they are allowed to. Whole folder trees can come over from OneDrive or Dropbox in one go.
