Leave feedback on the asset

Stop describing where you mean. Pin the exact spot on an image, the exact page of a PDF, the exact frame of a video — and the comment carries the place with it.

Mark the spot

1. On an image: click an exact spot or drag a marked area, then write the comment.
2. On a PDF: comment on a specific page — and, if you want, a point on that page.
3. On a video: pause and mark a point or area on the frame; the comment keeps that exact moment. The playing time is stamped automatically, and one click removes the stamp if you don't want it.

Tip: your mark stays visible on the asset while you type, and clears together with the comment box — nothing half-placed ever posts.

Find your way around the feedback

Numbered pins on the asset match numbered comments in the thread — clicking either one finds the other. Timestamped video comments show as markers along the progress bar, and clicking one jumps there. The asset viewer opens on the Feedback tab, so a reviewer lands in the conversation, not next to it. Comments from an earlier round are tagged as such and open the side-by-side comparison.

Where the conversation lives

Discuss the whole review in one thread, or a single item on its own thread. New comments notify the review's participants; notes attached to a decision stay quiet. The conversation keeps flowing after changes are requested or work is rejected — that's where revise-and-resubmit happens — and freezes once the review is approved or cancelled.

Tip: a comment's position is fixed once posted. To move one, delete it and place a new one — the record never quietly rewrites where feedback pointed.
